Founded by Brian Wampler in the early 2000’s with a vision of making solid, tone packed boutique pedals that inspire musicians. Each Wampler is custom designed and built in USA using only the finest components available for superior sound and response.
Wampler Phenom Distortion
The Phenom Distortion is a dynamic distortion pedal that offers a range of tones from a deep, punchy rhythm sound to an ultra-responsive lead tone perfect for soaring solos and crisp harmonics. It has a flexible voicing switch that selects either bright or classic modes, independent gain and volume controls, and a powerful 3-band EQ. In Classic mode, the Phenom Distortion delivers smooth, tight low-end punch and soaring lead tones.
Through a clean amp and single coils this is the most dynamic of distortions, with an open organic presence. Play Phenom through humbuckers and a dirty amp and unleash a fire breathing monster. The Bright mode adds a glassy harmonic overtone which can accentuate different playing techniques and cuts through any live mix. Phenom is a flexible and organic distortion pedal with an original Brian Wampler circuit that is sure to become a classic.
Wampler Pedals Euphoria Overdrive
The Euphoria is his take on that elusive tone and feel made famous by “D style Amplifiers” – smooth creaminess yet crunchy when you need it to be, yet the tonality is much more transparent than other “D sounding” pedals. Very responsive tone controls that interact with the pedal – they don’t just “color the sound. The controls actually affect the response and feel of the pedal, just like a great tube amp. If you love the sound of your clean tone, and just wish you could have more “hair on the note… a little bit of grit without any change in tonality, the Euphoria will do that with ease.
With the toggle in the up position the tonality is super smooth, creamy yet crunchy when you dig into the strings. This is reminiscent to the famous “D style tone, though it’s really much, much more than that. In the center position, the toggle will give you tons of crunch, or roll the gain back a bit and push the volume up and you have a superior clean boost with a 2 band EQ that’s extremely transparent, but variable so you can actually turn it into an awesome treble booster just by cranking up the treble and turning the bass down.
Wampler Plexi-Drive
The Plexi-Drive Deluxe builds on the foundation of the original Plexi-Drive but with more control to shape your tone. The 3 band active EQ, additional brightness control, and perfectly voiced pre-gain booster get almost any Plexi tone from virtually any amp. The unique gain structure can cover everything from ’68 style Plexi tones to the massive rock tones of a JTM-45 cranked to ten. The bass boost emulates the low-end thump of a 4×12”, and the bright switch adds plenty of high-end sparkle.
Since the early 60’s, Plexi Amplifiers have lead the way in rock tones with its legendary tight overdrive and coveted bass response. Early rock legends such as: Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Cream, and AC/DC helped lead the way in creating some of the most iconic rock tones ever produced and catapulted Plexi Amplifiers into rock legendary status.

Wampler Low Blow V2 Bass OD/Distortion
The Low Blow, Wampler’s first overdrive and distortion pedal was designed exclusively for bass guitar. The 2 clipping modes, smooth and jagged, react perfectly. Smooth gives you more of an overdrive, while Jagged is more distorted. The addition of a 3 band EQ, for Bass, Mids, and Treble, allows more tonal control. The Notch Filter switch helps you tighten, and clean up common cabinet noises without having to turn down the volume.
Some of the most consistently asked questions to Wamlper Pedals is “Will this pedal work on bass?”. Brian Wampler started tweaking a bass circuit. With the input of numerous bass players, he was able to make improvements. He worked meticulously, until everyone agreed that it was perfect. Then Brian started to really refine it. Working with Wampler engineer, and bass player, Jake Steffes, they tuned the gain stages to perfection. And the Low Blow was born.
Wampler Tumnus
There is one overdrive circuit to this day has been the most talked about, the most sought after, and the most mythical of them all. It’s big, it’s expensive, and it has certainly earned its place at the table. Wampler has painstakingly and faithfully reproduced that magical tone in all its glory in an unbelievably small package, and its name is Tumnus.
Tumnus is a versatile addition to any setup, any style. Stack it with another pedal to help push or shape the total amount of gain, use it as a stand alone OD, or use it as a slightly dirty boost to push the front end of your amp. Even use it as a buffer, because just like the original this pedal is not true bypass. Instead, this pedal contains a buffered bypass tone legendary in its own right.
Gain
This adds grit and dirt to the affected signal. Start with it off (counter clockwise) and increase the volume for an amazing boost. It will fatten up your tone, when you turn up the gain control. This pedal is great as a stand alone boost, overdrive or preamp gain boost. This is the key to finding your tone.
Volume
This is where you adjust your volume levels. You should start at an equal volume to its bypassed unity. You’ll probably be surprised that the volume is much lower than most OD pedals. This is because of the amount of headroom inside the unit, which allows it to perform as a pre-gain boost.
Treble
This is for increasing your high pitch sounds to the signal. Adjusting the treble is an important feature, if you use the pedal as a preamp or pre-gain boost. Increasing your top end gives your tone a clean cut sound, that resounds through the mix!
Wampler cataPulp V2 British Stack Tone
Wampler wanted to make a pedal that could faithfully reproduce the tones of a specific citrus colored, British amp made famous by artists like Jimmy Page, Weezer, Queens of the Stone Age, and Slipknot… A distinctive tone that stands out in terms of power, width and dirt. After spending countless hours tweaking the circuit and testing it against many tones from those great amps, they were able to produce the one pedal that captures that attitude—the cataPulp.
Wampler Ratsbane Distortion
The Ratsbane is based on a true benchmark sound amongst guitarists that has been heard on thousands of famous recordings.
The full, dynamic range, and sheer sonic force of this circuit is what makes it a true king amongst distortion pedals. Turn the distortion control all the way down for a deep but powerful gain booster. Crank it up and you will find rich harmonic overtones and a throaty, fuzz-like distortion.
The “secret sauce” for this circuit has always been the filter control. Turn it counter-clockwise to cut straight through the mix with precision and high-frequency attack that lets your tone soar with absolute clarity. Turn it clockwise to filter the top end, for a warm, buttery, yet clear tone. This natural full-range distortion, mixed with its unique filter control, delivers a classic cranked tube-amp sound that crosses genres and generations of music.
Wampler Triumph Overdrive
The Triumph is a versatile overdrive based around two of Brian’s all-time favorite overdrives, the Digitech Bad Monkey and the Boss SD-1. In typical Wampler fashion, additional EQ stages have been added that allow a variety of different tones as well as internal circuit changes that add polished glassy overtones.
It has a two-position voicing switch that selects Smooth or Punch modes, giving you two uniquely distinct flavors of overdrive. Gain, volume, and a three-band EQ round out the controls allowing perfect tone shaping no matter the application. Triumph will sit beautifully in the mix with assured clarity and a driving, rich tone. In Smooth mode, the Triumph delivers a progressive gain structure with an unmistakable gritty presence and classic mid-hump profile. Dial in some soulful blues through a clean amp or experience growling bite when you push it through an already crunchy amplifier. In Punch mode, Triumph adds more open tonality, less compression and is more touch sensitive, providing detailed note articulation.
Wampler Sovereign V2 Distortion
The Sovereign. A distortion pedal designed to be so versatile you will wonder how so much can be available from on small box. Two gain stages, a mid contour, bright switch and tone control allow you to shape your tone the way you want. Dial in virtually any sound from modern distortion all the way back to classic OD tones.
Designed to give your tone the punch and clarity missing from many distortion pedals, the Sovereign brings you a huge range of tones through your amp.

In doing so, it found its way onto thousands of pedalboards across the world. Enter the new Pantheon Deluxe – a dual overdrive pedal that takes this evolution several steps further by offering a flexible design with two completely independent Pantheon circuits, one voiced as a classic blues breaker and one with a more modern boutique sound. The Pantheon Deluxe lets you dial in two channels of organic creamy gain, gritty overdrive, or heavy distortion while retaining Wampler’s famous ease of use and flexibility. The Wampler Dual Fusion Tom Quayle Signature Overdrive Guitar Pedal provides the versatility, transparency and tonal response modern fusion guitarists need! Wampler teamed up with one of the forerunners of modern fusion, Tom Quayle, to create this remarkable pedal, which is possibly the only pedal designed specifically for the genre.
Channel 1 is a transparent overdrive sound. It gives a full tone and is very touch responsive. It is great to play clean, but if you play harder, it gives out a smooth, fat overdrive. Channel 2 can also be for smooth, singing sustains, without any nasty, unwanted noise. When you combine both channels together, you get a thicker sounding punch.

Wampler Paisley Overdrive
Wampler’s relationship with Brad Paisley goes back to a time way before his original signature Paisley Drive pedal…. in fact, thanks to the way it produced similar tones to the lauded Nobel’s ODR-S with more control for fine-tuning his sound, the first Wampler pedal Brad fell in love with was the since-discontinued Underdog overdrive. It’s with this in mind that Wampler combined Brad’s two favorite Wampler tones in the Paisley Deluxe dual overdrive pedal.
By cramming a Paisley Drive and Brian’s Underdog circuits into a single pedal, Wampler is delivering the ultimate Brad Paisley pedal. Not only do you have independent access to both tones, but you are able to stack them for more harmonically rich drive in any order you want.
And taking a cue from Wampler’s popular Tom Quayle signature Dual Fusion’s groundbreaking signal routing, you’re able to run each side of the Paisley Deluxe as an individual pedal, perfect for today’s pedal switcher-based rigs. Whether you’re looking to nail Brad’s gorgeous signature tones or are looking for a great-sounding overdrive with unbelievable flexibility, you can’t go wrong with the Wampler Paisley Deluxe.
Wampler Clarksdale Overdrive
At the crossroads of Highway 61 and Junction 49 lies the official crossroads of Clarksdale, Mississippi – the birthplace of the Delta Blues. This historic town, and the famous music that was created there, is responsible for the inspiration behind this pedal – The Clarksdale Overdrive.
