The Zoom LiveTrak L-12 is a Digital Mixer & Multi-Track Recorder that allows you to mix, record, and monitor all with one powerful audio tool. Offering 12 discrete channels with XLR connectivity, 14-track simultaneous recording, and 12-track playback, the LiveTrak L-12 records at resolutions up to 24-bit/ 96 kHz for professional-quality results. The 14in/4out USB audio interface lets you record to your favorite software DAW or to iOS device and you could add backing/click tracks from your computer to your live mix and recording.
The LiveTrak L-12 features RCA and TRS line inputs, Hi-Z connectivity on channels 1 and 2, a 26dB pad on channels 3-8, and 48V phantom power on the 8 mono channels. Additionally, the channel strip provides a low-cut filter, 3-band EQ, pan control, and a send FX to send signals to the onboard effects processor with 16 built-in effects with a dedicated EFX Return channel. With 5 powered monitor mix headphone outputs, the LiveTrak L-12 allows every performer a mix that’s tailored to their preference.
An intuitive design provides a built-in slate mic, SD card input, backlit LCD display and an encoder knob. Bringing all this together the Zoom LiveTrak L-12 is the ideal audio tool for practically every recording setting: from live music performance to studio recording, band rehearsals, podcasts, and more.

Effortless Live Mixing
LiveTrak’s 12 discrete channels (eight mono plus two stereo) have a 3-band mid-parametric EQ and 16 built-in send effects. Its eight mono channels also have a dedicated compressor. With all these controls plus its 12-segment LED metering, the L-12 offers just what you need for intuitive mixing.
Record Everything, Remix Anywhere
LiveTrak lets you record 12 discrete tracks up to 24-bit/96 kHz WAV audio to an SD card while simultaneously mixing your live show. Tracks are recorded pre-EQ and effects, so they can be transferred to your favorite DAW for further mixing and editing.
Five Custom Monitor Mixes
The L-12 has five powered monitor mix outputs that each provide an individual mix, allowing every performer a mix that’s tailored to their preferences. Since the L-12 can drive headphones or in-ear monitors, there’s no need for a separate headphone monitoring setup.
USB Connectivity for Your DAW
As a 14-in/4-out USB audio interface, the L-12 offers limitless creative possibilities. Route signal from each input and the master fader output to any DAW at sample rates up to 48 kHz. You can even route signal from your DAW back into the L-12 on tracks 9/10 or 11/12, allowing you to easily add click or backing tracks to the main mix or monitor mixes.
Advanced Onboard Effects
There are 16 built-in effects, all with fully adjustable parameters. Choose from delay and reverb effects and send them to any channel.
Custom Scene Settings
Nine different scenes can save and recall custom mix settings automatically. Each scene saves fader position, EQ settings, pan, mute, and more. The “Fader Mode” buttons display and adjust mix output from the Master Out as well as Monitor Outs A through E.

High-Definition Sample Rates
The L-12 supports sample rates up to 96 kHz when recording to an SD card, allowing you to record in high definition. In Audio Interface mode, the L-12 can record up to 48 kHz to a computer and an SD card simultaneously.
Convenient Auto Recording
Record automatically by adjusting the L-12’s customizable audio input commands. Set it to start when the master fader detects a certain dB level, or use a guitar chord or snare hit to start the track. You can capture data up to two seconds before recording starts, in case a performance begins ahead of time.
Versatile Operation Modes
The L-12 is equipped with several operation modes. Audio Interface mode lets you route inputs and outputs to any DAW.
With USB Host mode, transfer projects and audio files to a connected USB flash drive. In Card Reader mode, the L-12 acts as an SD card reader, allowing you to transfer audio files to and from your computer.
